Today in class we were discussing pressure and what is involved with the gas particles. We talked about how a straw works and how a water well works. During class we did a demonstration called Blowing Up a Student. During this demonstration we see the force that can be applied to objects by air particles. We had one student brave enough to be blown up. They laid on a trash bag and four individuals used their great lung capacity to fill the trash bag with air particles. Eventually the student was lifted off the desk. We discussed why this occurred and we took some pictures to document our results.
